how to get out of this predicament
take these words as friend to friend
the devil has a key to your door
hold watermelon to lips
we can still get out of this
we've been around now for a while
what have we learned from it all
have we learned to tell right from wrong
do we even care to learn
and if not watch the world burn
everybody wants someone to blame
but have you seen yourself
you vow to demons and say you don't
want on earth did you expect to gain
a demonic state of things
karma is real now
fuck what you heard
we have been deceived from birth
your care is required here on earth
where in the world have you been
stop neglecting everything
knowing your enemy is part of the deal
they have shown you who they are
they lie, they cheat, they steal our souls away
you better wake up before it's too late
everybody wants something to believe
do you even believe in truth
are these words truer than another
will they help you walk the path
let's kick back and do the math
you are so beautiful in your right mind
when feminine and masculine
join together in unison
to make your own special blend
eat the whole watermelon

I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. pandr1900

This record has such a magical flow to it, it seems to capture so directly the ups and downs of life, the joy of music and dance, and it's just so damn catchy and fun to listen to as well. Giles
